The MONTAER MC-01 is a two-seat, all-metal high-wing aircraft designed for flight training, personal flying, and cross-country missions. Its welded 4130 steel occupant safety cell, metal airframe, and integrated avionics reflect a practical approach to aircraft design.
Integrated Garmin Avionics
The established G3X Touch configurations provide synthetic vision, moving maps, engine and fuel monitoring, and traffic and weather information when supported by the installed equipment and available services. MONTAER announced Garmin AXIS as standard for the 2027 lineup on October 22, 2026. Confirm model-year equipment and selected options before ordering.
Panel options include the Garmin GPS 175 and GTN 650Xi or 750Xi navigators, as specified for the selected configuration. The GMC 507 provides the autopilot control interface. Autopilot is optional on Premium and Exclusive panels and standard on Platinum.
Aircraft Limits and Pilot Privileges
The FAA’s MOSAIC final rule is in effect. Aircraft certification, operating eligibility, pilot privileges, and passenger limits are separate requirements. Use the individual aircraft’s approved maximum takeoff weight and operating limitations; a regulatory change does not automatically authorize a higher aircraft weight.
Installed navigation equipment does not alone authorize IFR operation or instrument training. Aircraft approvals, operating limitations, required equipment, applicable rules, and pilot qualifications determine what operations are permitted.
Training and Everyday Flying
The published 39 KTS stall speed and available 160-horsepower Rotax 916iS Turbocharged configuration are part of the MC-01’s mission profile. Consult the applicable aircraft flight manual for configuration-specific performance, conditions, and limitations. A spacious cabin, baggage area, and growing dealer and support network support both flight-school and private-owner operations.
