RT Aviation completes intensive factory training as Montaer strengthens U.S. sales, maintenance, flight training, technical support, and customer service infrastructure for its growing American fleet.
LAUREL, MISSISSIPPI — August 2026 — As the population of Montaer aircraft continues to grow across the United States, Montaer Aircraft is taking another important step in strengthening the infrastructure behind every aircraft it delivers.
RT Aviation, led by Todd Livingston and Ron Gavin, is establishing a Montaer Sales & Service Center in Laurel, Mississippi, creating a strategically located, factory-connected resource dedicated to Montaer aircraft sales, maintenance, flight training, technical support, customer service, and the development of additional qualified maintenance resources throughout the country.
The initiative represents much more than the addition of another sales location.
It is part of Montaer's long-term commitment to ensuring that the growth of its U.S. fleet is matched by an equally strong network of trained professionals, technical expertise, maintenance capability, pilot training, parts and service coordination, and responsive customer support.
From the Factory to the Field
This month, Todd Livingston and Ron Gavin spent an intensive week at Montaer Aircraft's facilities, completing Montaer factory training and certification while working directly within the environment where the aircraft are built.

Their program included hands-on exposure to Montaer aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, inspections, troubleshooting, technical documentation, servicing practices, and the manufacturer's quality-control processes.
The objective was not simply to become familiar with the aircraft.
It was to understand the aircraft from the manufacturer's perspective.
That distinction is fundamental to the philosophy behind the new Laurel center.
RT Aviation combines the experience of FAA-certificated A&P mechanics with Montaer-specific factory training and certification, creating an important connection between the people who design and manufacture the aircraft and the professionals who will support Montaer owners in the field.
For Montaer customers, that means access to professionals who understand not only general aircraft maintenance, but also the manufacturer's procedures, technical philosophy, documentation, standards, and expectations for the Montaer platform.
Sales. Service. Training. Factory Support.
The new Montaer Sales & Service Center is being developed around four fundamental pillars: Sales. Service. Training. Factory Support.
From Laurel, RT Aviation will support Montaer aircraft sales and demonstrations, helping prospective owners understand the aircraft, its capabilities, operating characteristics, maintenance considerations, and the support structure available after delivery.

For existing owners, the center will provide comprehensive A&P maintenance, inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, aircraft servicing, technical assistance, and maintenance support, with direct access to Montaer factory resources when additional technical coordination is required.
RT Aviation will also provide flight training, transition and familiarization support, helping Montaer pilots develop a deeper understanding of the aircraft and operate it confidently and professionally.
The result is an integrated approach to aircraft ownership.
A customer can be introduced to Montaer through the sales process, experience the aircraft, receive flight training, obtain maintenance and technical support, and continue working with a Montaer-focused organization throughout the life of the aircraft.
Customer Service Is Part of the Aircraft
For Montaer, building an aircraft is only one part of serving an aircraft owner.
The relationship does not end with delivery.
The quality of an ownership experience is also determined by what happens after the sale—when an owner needs an inspection, has a technical question, requires maintenance, wants additional training, needs assistance diagnosing an issue, or simply needs someone knowledgeable to answer the phone and help.
That is why customer service, professionalism, technical competence, responsiveness, factory orientation, proper documentation, quality standards, and continuing education are central to the concept behind the Laurel center.
Montaer's objective is to provide customers with a recognizable standard of support that reflects the same attention to quality expected during aircraft production.
The philosophy is straightforward:
The standard used to build the aircraft should continue into the way the aircraft and its owner are supported.
Building a Nationwide Montaer Maintenance Network
RT Aviation's role will extend beyond maintaining aircraft at its own facility.
As the Montaer population expands throughout the United States, one of the industry's practical challenges is ensuring that qualified maintenance knowledge expands with it.
RT Aviation will therefore also serve as a technical resource for other A&P mechanics seeking Montaer-specific familiarization and training.
Using the knowledge gained through its factory training, RT Aviation will help other maintenance professionals better understand Montaer aircraft systems, inspection procedures, maintenance practices, technical documentation, troubleshooting methods, and factory-recommended procedures.
This creates a multiplier effect. Rather than expecting every Montaer owner in the United States to bring an aircraft to one location, Montaer and RT Aviation can help develop knowledgeable maintenance resources closer to where the aircraft are actually based.
Laurel becomes the center of expertise—but the knowledge can travel.
As the fleet grows, so does the network supporting it.
When the Aircraft Cannot Come to Laurel, Laurel Can Come to the Aircraft
That philosophy extends directly into RT Aviation's field-support capability.
When necessary, RT Aviation will travel to Montaer customers and their aircraft, providing on-site technical assistance, troubleshooting, inspections, maintenance support, and other field services within the applicable scope of A&P privileges and regulatory requirements.
For owners operating hundreds or even thousands of miles from Mississippi, this capability adds an important layer of confidence.
A maintenance or technical issue does not always occur conveniently near a service center. In those situations, having access to Montaer factory-trained professionals who can coordinate with the manufacturer and, when appropriate, travel to the aircraft can make a significant difference.
The objective is not simply to establish a service location.
It is to establish a support system.
A Strategic U.S. Reference Center for Montaer
As its responsibilities expand, the Laurel operation is expected to become an important Montaer technical and operational reference center in the United States.
It will connect several essential parts of the ownership ecosystem:
Montaer Aircraft and its factory.Aircraft owners and prospective customers.Pilots and flight instructors.A&P mechanics and maintenance professionals.Sales, technical support, and customer service.
That connection becomes increasingly important as more Montaer aircraft enter service across a geographically large market.
Growth requires infrastructure.
And Montaer intends to build that infrastructure alongside the fleet—not after it.
RT Aviation Joins Montaer for the Launch of the MC-01 Fast
Todd and Ron's factory visit also coincided with an important moment in Montaer's continued evolution: the launch celebration of the new Montaer MC-01 Fast.
RT Aviation joined Montaer personnel, partners, and guests for the introduction of the new three-seat MC-01 Fast, powered by the Rotax 916 iS Turbo engine.
Their participation in the launch was particularly fitting.
While Todd and Ron were at the factory preparing to support the Montaer aircraft operating in America today, they were also able to see firsthand where the Montaer product family is heading tomorrow.
The MC-01 Fast represents another step in the development of the Montaer platform, combining the company's established design philosophy with increased performance and the capabilities of the turbocharged Rotax 916 iS.
For RT Aviation, being present for the launch provided valuable exposure to Montaer's newest development at the same time the organization prepares for an expanded role in Montaer's U.S. future.
Preparing Today for the Montaer Fleet of Tomorrow
The establishment of the Montaer Sales & Service Center at RT Aviation in Laurel, Mississippi, reflects a broader strategy.
Montaer is not interested only in increasing the number of aircraft it sells in the United States.
It is equally focused on building the ecosystem required to support those aircraft for years to come.
That means sales representation backed by product knowledge.
It means pilots backed by quality training. It means aircraft backed by knowledgeable A&P professionals. It means maintenance professionals backed by factory information and Montaer-specific training.
And above all, it means customers backed by people who understand that service after the sale is part of the product itself.

With FAA-certificated A&P expertise, Montaer factory training and certification, comprehensive maintenance and aircraft support capabilities, flight training, sales representation, mobile field support, and a mission to help develop additional Montaer-qualified maintenance resources, RT Aviation is positioned to become a major component of Montaer's growing U.S. infrastructure.
From Laurel, Mississippi, its reach will extend far beyond a single airport or region.
It will support aircraft. It will support pilots. It will develop mechanics. It will assist customers. And it will maintain a direct technical connection to the Montaer factory.
Because as the Montaer fleet grows across America, the standard of support behind it must grow with it. And that is precisely what Montaer Aircraft and RT Aviation are building.
